Praying again today!

We received no news yesterday so we are praying again today that our LOA will come TODAY!

Also, please pray for the safety and warmth of our Molly as well as all the other people of China. There has been a HUGE snowstorm hit central and southern China. One of the hardest hit areas has been Jiangsu Province, which is where Molly is. Many houses have collapsed due to the weight of the snow. Also, trains and trucks are not able to get through to deliver coal and gas for heat. Our agency is checking with several orphanages to see how they are doing. It would be such a helpless feeling to know that my baby is on the otherside of the world and there was nothing I could do. But, I can do something, and so can you---PRAY. God can take care of her!

So, pray for us to get our LOA, so we can start making plans to go bring Molly home, and pray that she is safe and warm!

Praying for LOA Today!

I just wanted to ask anyone that might read our blog today to please pray that our LOA comes TODAY! Steve and I have both been praying that it comes soon. I have decided to be more specific and ask for it to come TODAY! God can and does answer prayer! I have faith that He can do this for us!

I want my baby girl HOME!

We are on day 63 of what is an average 90 day wait to get our LOA. I don't know how I will make it through the next month! I want my little girl home. We cleaned out her room (the boys' old playroom) today and hopefully will get it painted this weekend. It will be pink with butterflies and flowers, and just sitting there waiting on her to sleep and play in! Our agency is going to ask for updated measurements sometime around the beginning of February, so hopefully we will get some idea of how big she is (although everyone has told me that the babies are usually atleast a couple of pounds smaller then what their measurements say--so we will see), and maybe, just maybe the orphanage will send a picture or two! I would love to see her and I am sure she is growing. Steve is hoping she will have a little more hair! I just wanted to post and ask everyone to pray that our LOA comes QUICKLY! Many agencies are expecting some tomorrow, so maybe we will be so blessed!

God's Good!

We took a good look at all of our finances and the contributions to the "Molly Fund" and got a better estimate on how much travel is going to cost us to go to China. If everything goes as planned we are now only about $2,000 short of the money we need to go get our Molly. God is so good! Thanks to everyone who has helped us along the way. We greatly appreciate the generosity of friends, family and even strangers. There have been so many blessings throughout this process and we have been constantly reminded of God's goodness and His power.
